Future of Broadcasting Conference

Speaking at the Institute of Economic Affairs' annual Future of Broadcasting conference in London, it was great to see a huge surge in interest and enthusiasm for all things IP in the TV world, although, inevitably, there were the usual laggards holding onto the old dying models.

In particularly, commercial TV stations who have been dependent on the smoke and mirrors of the vague old advertising measurement systems are in denial about accountable reporting of ad delivery.

It's true to say that there are still more questions than answers out there, but the fog seems to be clearing. We're at where web 1.0 was at in 1998.
