Automatic for the People

As news comes that YouTube is now bigger than MySpace, the next trend in TV over the internet is going to be a zillion companies launching their own upload services.

We expect this to actually work very well for niche channels since narrow interest content can find a relevant home rather than being lost in the endless dross on YouTube.

Indeed, ITV Local has had this service running for several months already, enabling people to upload locally relevant content from classified ads to band promos and news items.
