Microsoft Madness

An indication of how wrong things have gone at Microsoft was a conference call with one of their senior guys last night where they indicated that their new OS, Vista, would not support their own server technology, server side playlists. It was not a priority they claimed.

So, Microsoft don't think the ability to generate linear or scheduled video programming is important, even as they claim to be leading the march towards IPTV.

I'm off to buy some LINUX boxes and to install Helix.
