DVR pioneer Replay TV have announced a re-entry into the market after the failure of their hardware product to capture consumer imagination.
They have launched a PC based version of their software aimed at those people who have TV tuner cards.
However, it's likely that they will be squeezed by companies such as Sony's Tvtv and the generic control tools on Windows Vista - I haven't seen a DVR function on this or the MCE OS yet, but I'm sure one will soon follow.
Owning the interface, and trying to usurp those that presently control the interface, it a tough ask.
