Progressive Thought

In an ongoing spirit of positive thinking in these difficult times, it seems that UK regulator OFCOM has seen the light and is now encouraging the diversion of public funds towards alternative technologies to fibre to create a level playing field for broadband all over the UK.

With the Labour Party promising to subsidise broadband for the 'have not' schoolchildren, this begins to suspiciously look like there's some positive, joined-up thinking going on in the UK.

Support for rural WiMax and companies like TFL is particularly important also if the BT virtual monopoly is to be broken in the UK broadband market.
