Another sign of desparation in Redmond as they realise that Adobe has had their lunch; last night I installed the latest Vista service pack (including IE8); today it has taken me twenty minutes to get Flash to work in IE8.
I have little doubt that, in the name of 'security', Microsoft is seeking to make life a little bit more uncomfortable for Flash users whilst making it a little easier for Silverlight users (Silverlight is Microsoft's Flash rival).
Since pretty much all Internet TV services use one of these two technologies expect mayhem amongst users in the near future.
Well, the only reason I continued to use IE was because of its RSS feeds. So, Mr Ballmer, you've made my life easy for me. It's goodbye IE forever. You just lost another customer with your pigheadedness, buddy...
