A bunch of over-paid, over-pampered brats thought that they were much better than they were. With nothing to lose, tonight they come back to their mansions and Ferraris and will be inured from the bleating of the media as they jet off to luxury hideaway islands before turning up again in August for clubs where they will shine, because they are paid to do so. The rest of the nation is left to pick up the pieces.
Your average Englishman, robbed by the bankers and robbed by his heroes. All that's left is to curl in front of Sky TV, order in the pizza and wonder if they will have a job tomorrow.
