As the cheerful among us like to point out its the bear you don't see that gets you. As the "traditional" TV / Media companies wrestle with the ad share that AdWords have taken and the audience share that YouTube have attracted (both in very short time periods) they seem to take solace in the idea that the online video models never really make any money.
Apple have recently announced the re-launch of Apple TV - another day another re-launch you might say - but this will be different in my view. The great success of the AppStore model to music and other media can now, with the launch of the IPAD, be applied to TV, Movies and Games.
Independent producers can now realistically go "over the top" and reach the consumer and make some money.........maybe.
