As Goldman Sachs busily prepares itself to "exit" Facebook, lobbing a few million extra in to pump the valuation, Stumbleupon has emerged with a slightly "off message" statistic.
Apparently, according to statcounter, Stumbleupon referred 43% of social media traffic in the US compared to 38% from Facebook - a very surprising stat given that Facebook has a much greater user base. Basically Stumbleupon has 13 million users and Facebook has 500 million users.
No doubt a hasty re-draft of the disclaimers in the Facebook offer document.
