As a consequence of breaching the network at Facebook and downloading IP onto a hard drive a hacker has been given an 8 month prison sentence.
Facebook clearly object to having their Intellectual Property taken (quite reasonably). Perhaps they could more actively assist in the protection of other people's IP rather than just running the argument that they are just a mere conduit..........
