A fascinating revelation from GigaOm is that online content syndicators Blip have stopped distributing to a number of Smart TV (and online) platforms. The reasons are commercial, which can be translated into 'we can't make money here'.
The reason is simple - nobody uses 'Apps' on their telly. As we've long contended on this blog, TVs as a lean back medium badly suited to the PC paradigm. The failure of Google TV also emphasises this.
