BSKyB Looking For A Killing

This publication has long commented on BSkyB's (or rather 21st Century Fox, the controlling entity's) ambitions  to become a pan-European broadcasters (when you buy sports rights, buying them on a European basis is like going to the wholesalers..).

Now, they have added a high profile Scandinavian to their board. Adine Grate is also a woman with extensive investco experience, so lots of boxes are being ticked. But it surely means that Sky is about to make a move on the Scandinavian market, where the production industry is at an all time high on the back of series like The Killing, and which is largely totally fluent in English, so UK channels can be re-transmitted.

Scandinavia fits perfectly between Sky Deutschland and BSkyB and loves football and Formula 1.

Enough said ?
