To follow up on our Ryder Cup analysis the KLipcorp Sentinel system reviewed the piracy levels across the leading 16 pirate live sports pirate sites for the Champions League matches on Wednesday evening.
Individual sites peaked at 140,000 unique users for all matches shown with audience levels for individual matches varying considerably.
However the Arsenal match generated a total of 160,000 uniques viewers across the 16 pirate sites and multiple feeds delivered by those sites identified by the Sentinel.
Our systems identified no evidence of takedown or stream disruption with coverage balanced across Sky and ITV by the pirates.
Supporting advertising activity was in line with what our systems normally detect showing a mixture of bookmakers and some blue chip brands.
