The Interface Is The Message


One of the major challenges of TV 2.0 is how to organise so much televisual information into a coherent interface.

Intractive TV specialists Open TV have demonstrated some fascinating interfaces, which have adopted Flash-based technology.


Google showed how navigation can be clean and simple, whilst the architecture of most websites is confusing and over-complex. The challenges for TV interface designers are even more complex with factors such as schedules and the visual representation of what is on the channel.
