Hard Viewing

Considering that it's pretty much all they do for a living, TV companies provide us with interfaces that are primeval.

I use, at various time, Virgin , Sky and Freeview on telly and pretty much all the broadcasters online. They are all, without an exception, totally useless beyond belief.

They don't know what you've already seen, their ideas of what you're interested in are usually dumb and the navigation is tortuously slow, even compared to the internet.

When, oh when are we going to get some designers into this industry, some people who are even vaguely interested in sorting out how billions of people spend a large proportion of their time ?
