Unedifying Auntie

I spent an hour or so last night in the unedifying experience of trying to find broadband content on the BBC website. There's tons on there, albeit at a rather dodgy 256Kbps in Real, but navigating and finding anything is next to impossible.

It brings to mind the old dichotomy, the internet as TV or TV as the internet?

The trouble is, most people working in this area come from an internet background with little or no experience of television. The result is the usual confused, Flash ridden collection of microsites which may or may not have the clip you click on available to view.

Now can I have my licence fees (yes, I have to pay twice) back ?
