World Cup on the Web

The BBC have announced that they will be offering the World Cup on broadband for the first time (in the UK only, presumably). I just hope the up the data rate from 256Kbps and use Windows Media instead of Real, then you might just be able to see the ball...

But it's a step in the right direction and stops all those people out there with Windows Media Centres and Windows Encoder from re-broadcasting the events globally. Or does it.
