Microsoft Get Off Its Soapbox

Microsoft's user generated video service, Soapbox (yes, the one that uses Flash technology) is being taken off air for a while. The site has reportedly stopped accepting new registrations whilst filtering software from Audible Magic is implemented; I wonder if they'll also upgrade the technology to support Microsoft's new generation of web technology clumsily called WPF/E at present ?

Microsoft seem to be doing a good job in being the good corporate citizen in the content world whilst Google are fast digging themselves into a bit of a hole with their reluctance (or inability) to implement proper moderation of a number of their services, not least YouTube.
