Broadband Enterprises (BE) is an interesting company that I've been following.
Whereas most internet tv services are repackaging existing programming, BE have been producing their own. indeed, they're a veritable kickback to the days of studio control in the movie world. Not only do they produce their own content, but they manage the technology platform, the ad play in (via a new product called Vindico) and manage the syndication.
Indeed, the strength of the company seems to be in the almost 2,000 outlets it has for its own (and third party) original content.
For internet TV to succeed, companies like BE have to flourish.
