Crowded House

It's becoming an increasingly crowded place, the internet TV industry. Latest beta on the scene is yet another Joost-wannabe from Microsoft and a small UK company, Skinkers, called LiveStation. Meanwhile Sony have rebranded Grouper as Crackle, but, apart from some studio clips, it seems to be another me-too short form video site.

It's hardly surprising that a self-interested survey found that internet TV viewers are confused and frustrated.

Getting equally crowded is the video advertising marketplace, with newbies such as adap.tv, Liverail, BrandPort, AdPerk, and BrightSpot all on the bandwagon.
