Go Low

I received a bit of stick for my recent comments in Broadcast magazine about the BBC's iPlayer. However, as this article in The Sunday Times demonstrates, I am far from being alone. It's interesting how the journalist makes no differentiation between streaming and download.

As I have commented below. There seems to be a fundamental issue with the enormous file sizes being used to encode the content across many download services. A bit of free advice - use much, much lower bit rates!
