Intel's deal with Yahoo! is the harbinger of the web connected TV (as opposed to the TV connected PC). More and more screens arrive with internet connectivity, but the lack of a processor means that functionality is limited and slow. Now applications such as Inuk's virtual STB technologies as well as browsers and Flash can be integrated with the screen.
