It's twenty years since seat back entertainment systems were introduced on airlines, probably the first time that telly had been taken outside the home (or the hotel room) in a meaningful way.
With the way the airline industry has gone since it has occurred to me that airlines could quite possibly make more money by charging pay-per-view for movies rather than charging the passenger to fly.
Anyhow, I'm off to Singapore soon and look forward to catching up all those films I missed by not going to the cinema.
