Digital Fallout

The US is struggling to meet digital switchover, and the current delay, approved by Congress, may still not be enough.

The US has long depended on satellite and cable delivery for most of its provision, so this is not such a big deal, but the approach to digitization has been over-confident. And this has knock on effects on the bandwidth that should have been freed up for things like wireless broadband.

Uncertainty is not good in any business. With the current flux in the TV market, this process could have been handled more realistically.
