It's rumoured that RIM, makers of the Blackberry phone, are about to launch a TV service on their device.
I have to admit that the wonders of this device are lost on me. The costs are higher than for ordinary phones that have all the same functions. From my time management days, I remember that defining your time is a priority, so the whole push email thing is just bad business practice to me.
I have a couple of friends with the new Storm PDA, which is similar to iPlayer, and they do nothing but complain about it.
Now, as they try and emulate the iPhone there's a danger they will move away from their core base.
As with everything else in media technology at the moment, this may be a case of trying to be all things to all men and coming up short on all accounts.
