BBC To Go

I had my breath taken away yesterday when i loaded the BeebPlayer onto my android phone.

This free app provides a seamless interface into the BBC's iPlayer, providing live streams as well as the full range of on demand programmes. Apparently it has nothing to do with the BBC and has been developed by, I think, Dave Johnston.

I tried it on both WiFi and 3G on Orange and it worked very well. Very impressive.

BBC need to start supporting Android with their online services. Can't help but think that beeb player will get shut down soon.
