Zapped It

It's been a good month for VidZapper, formerly known as Project V. After two launches in Wales - a multilingual channel to promote Welsh food, True Taste TV and the launch of a channel for the University of Wales with graduations being beamed live to the families of the graduates around the world by Telesgop.

Then, there was the last minute launch of a channel for the World Match Racing Tour providing a platform for daily live coverage and highlights from the latest leg of the Tour in Korea produced by our old friends at 1080 Media.

Tomorrow sees Endesa TV go live for one of Spain's largest energy companies, developed by Vivocom using VidZapper's API.

Meanwhile Moviebeat TV served 200,000 streams last month, and this figure is doubling every month.

We've also launched version 1.3 of the platform, now supporting multiple CDNs, deep linking, click links on videos, RSS/XML distribution and a much expanded API. The platform now supports MOV, FLV, MP4 and WMV.
