The BBC has again been stymied in its plans for dominating the UK media. The BBC Trust has finally shown some responsibility and blocked the proposal to enable iPlayer to link to ITV and Channel 4 content.
Despite the Conservative party's proposals to reform the BBC Charter (and about time too), you can't help feeling that no one really has the political bottle for the fundamental reform of regulation that's required to keep British media healthy.
