It has little to do with IPTV but the UK political scene is a now very painful reflection of where we now are as a country. We have a situation where the Liberal Democrats are tarting about in cohorts with a "rainbow coalition" with other of the losing parties under the banner of "we hate the Tories" with a special sideshow where Gordon Brown agrees to go - but like all Dictators is vague on the timing. All very well - but does this mean this "we hate the Tories" group also hates the largest single block of voters in the UK who just happened to vote Tory - if they could get into a polling booth. It is as if rather than choosing the winner of the X-factor and releasing an album - Simon Cowell decided to promote the strange bunch who get together for a song at the end of the series to demonstrate convincingly why they didn't win.
