Take A Tablet

My wife (bless her) has just walked the streets of San Francisco looking for an iPad, and apparently there are none available for love or money. Wow.

Meanwhile, here in Europe BT and Archos have both announced lower cost tablets and a raft of new Broadcom based tablets will cost under £100 when they hit the shops later this year. A new class of computers is likely to cause some new behaviour and you can really see the £100 iTablet as being the a standard for schoolkids and students.

Jeez, don't you just feel sorry for Bill Gates, who made the tablet computer his big prediction back in 2005.

But it's very clear that tablets will become a very video friendly device and will drive the move towards online video for younger viewers, in particular.
