Parasites are highly efficient organisms in the natural world, and Facebook seems to do well emulating this in the online world.
So, what price a company that emulates the Facebook model, but pays back some of its revenues to its members, participants and contributors ?
Companies like Google, Twitter and Facebook are highly efficient against traditional media since they have to produce no content (although YouTube has thrown in the towel on this). So they subsume our content and pass it off as their own.
I'm still pretty amazed at how they get away with this. How stupid we are to give so much of our content away, and how stupid authorities are to allow this to happen.
