So, here we are. Thirteen years later.
It's been a while since I predicted that people would watch television over the internet and started to build technology to support this.
And people are.
On tables and mobiles and consoles and other devices. My prediction of TV everywhere was prescient.
Still, that's not worth anything.
But the manifestation of this world is interesting. Broadcaster and service providers and the other contributors to the TV ecosystem are, of course, toast in their current manifestations. But their deaths will extend over a couple of decades.
Channel operators are becoming publishers and curators of Twitter and Facebook accounts that will be worth more than a slot on Sky.
The new TV world order is just raising its head and will have an outcome that will make Game Of Thrones seem basic.
